PORTLAND, Ore.—The Northwest Health Foundation is the newest client of EnviroMedia Social Marketing. The Foundation is a nonprofit that works to advance and promote the health of the people of Oregon and southwest Washington.

“Working with the Northwest Health Foundation is a natural fit for us, and we are excited to collaborate with them to enhance and promote public health to people in the Pacific Northwest,” said Valerie Davis, CEO and cofounder of EnviroMedia Social Marketing.

The agency has also expanded its team with two new hires and one transfer to its Portland-based office.

Jessica Repa comes to EnviroMedia to serve as Conservation Marketing Director, a new position that assists the agency’s global nonprofit client Climate Savers Computing Initiative. Repa previously worked as a Marketing and Communications Consultant on behalf of StalkMarket Products and is a board member for Neighborhood Natural Energy (N2e), a nonprofit that develops community-scaled solutions for energy independence and climate change by using renewable energy sources. As an attorney for Jones Day in Los Angeles and San Francisco, she worked on environmental and commercial matters. Repa is a graduate of American University with a Juris Doctorate in Law and The University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology.

Christine Vrem-Ydstie relocated from EnviroMedia’s Austin, Texas office to join the West Coast team as an Account Coordinator. For the past two years, Vrem-Ydstie has worked on special projects as an assistant to EnviroMedia Cofounder and President Kevin Tuerff. She recently managed the Utilities Program as part of the Climate Savers Computing Initiative, was integral in fruit and vegetable consumption educational efforts for client Oregon State University Extension Service, and has helped promote research on traumatic brain injuries for Core Health Care. She received her Bachelor of Arts from Barnard College of Columbia University.

Jovana Kamenko first joined EnviroMedia’s Portland office as an intern, and she is now the agency’s newest Account Assistant. Kamenko previously worked for The University of Oregon’s student-run ad agency, Allen Hall Advertising, where she worked on the Office of Sustainability account. As part of the team, she ensured all deliverables at the university were 100 percent compostable or recyclable. Kamenko graduated in May from The University of Oregon with a Bachelor of Arts in Advertising.
